St. Germaine Catholic School

Blue Ribbon Award

Congratulations St. Germaine!

We have received word from the US Department of Education that St. Germaine School has been selected as a national Blue Ribbon School!  Margaret Spellings, US Secretary of Education announced the 287 school from across the nation that received the honor on October 2, 2007.  We couldn’t be prouder of our faculty, staff, students and parents!

St. Germaine School was included among only 50 private and parochial schools on the list.  We qualified based on our most recent test scores and a description of the many innovative programs we offer.  The award places St. Germaine in the top 10% of the nation.

The Blue Ribbon Award ceremony will take place in Washington DC on November 12-13, 2007.  We will plan several celebrations with our school and parish community after the awards.  Look for more details as they become available.
